1.3 billion people lack access to safe drinking water.

The United Nations Development Program estimates that “providing safe drinking water and sanitation to those lacking them requires massive investment—estimated at $14 to $30 billion per year in addition to current annual spending levels.”

Our water partners implement participatory, community-based water solutions in developing countries by supporting the development of locally sustainable drinking water resources, sanitation facilities and health and hygiene education programs. They provide training, consulting and empower people to implement solutions in their own countries, including training programs in shallow well drilling, pump repair and hygiene education.

$14 can provide three families with clean water for a year.
$30 can provide safe water for a child and their family during critical years of learning and development.
